When we got a message from one of our clients asking if we could shoot parts of their wedding on a Super 8 camera, we couldn't believe it. It had always been something we wanted to do. It genuinely felt like a dream come true.
Why Super 8 Is Different
Shooting on a Super 8 camera is nothing like shooting on a modern digital camera.
One film cartridge gives you only about three minutes of footage. There are no retakes. No deleting clips. No stitching together. No takes later. Every second you record stays exactly the way it was captured.
That means every shot has to be intentional. You wait for the right moment. It teaches patience, trust, and being fully present.

While our digital cameras captured the entire wedding, we would quietly pick up the Super 8 camera whenever we felt a moment deserved to be remembered differently. And honestly, we loved every second of it.
We were a team of four, and it truly became a shared experience for all of us. We were all equally excited to work with the Super 8 camera. We celebrated every good frame, learned from every challenge, and enjoyed every moment of the process together.
